FAQ

1.WHICH IS THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR TO VISIT PATAGONIA?

This depends entirely on your own interests. Patagonia offers a cold and dry weather, made very unpredictable by the wind, particularly in summer. In the same day you can enjoy rain, sunshine and overcast conditions. Summer starts in December and lasts until February. It is the windiest time of the year, with the longest days. Between March and May there is little wind, and forests and grasslands become tinted with color. Winter, between June and August, offers shorter days, when you can have the stimulating experience of facing nature “with no intermediation”, certainly a stronger and deeper contact. Springtime begins in September, trees are blossoming, grass and shrubs are blooming, newborns are being expected, and then comes the sheep shearing, after which the animals are moved to summer grazing land.Perhaps your best time to come is right now!
